Morning Sessions

Start of day: 8:30am

End of day: 11:30am

Entry and Exit point: Foundation Stage 1 Unit Entrance

 

Afternoon Sessions

Start of day: 12:15pm

End of day: 3:15pm

Start of day: 8:30am

End of day: 3:00pm

Years 1 to 6

Start of day:  8:40am

End of day: 3:10pm

Y1, Y3, Y4, Y5, Y6 Entry and Exit point: Through external classroom doors 

Y2 Entry and Exit point: Through the old entrance on Festival Road

Punctuality

It is essential that children arrive on time for each session in order to get off to a prompt start. Supervision of pupils on school premises is available from 8:35am and, for safety reasons, pupils should not arrive earlier than this.  Children who arrive late face great difficulties as the first few minutes set the tone for the rest of the day.

Staying Energised!

Children are encouraged to drink water during the day. Fresh, chilled water is available to all pupils. Please equip your child with a lidded, named, plastic drinks container for this purpose. Children in the Foundation Stage are provided with free milk and fruit/vegetables choice daily. Water is also readily available. Free fruit/vegetables continues until the end of Year 2.

Equipment

Children do not need to bring any equipment, including stationary, to school. We provide everything needed.  We also ask that children do not bring in toys, fidget toys etc unless agreed with SENDco as they are a necessary strategy as part of a support plan.
